It is basically like an Indiana Jones story put to vividly colorful pictures, with background facts on regions, people, and animals all over the World. It is also a very informative magazine, dealing with the backgrounds of its topics, and explaining them in a fashion that leaves us with no questions. It instead leaves us with the urge to see in person what we see in pictures. The success of the magazine led National Geographic to create its own web-site, and sell the amenities that make our own exploration possible.
